My case manager saved my life simply by believing in me. He also helped me get approved for Permanent Supportive Housing and I'm forever grateful.

Fund Descriptions:
Area of Greatest Need- Your gift is unrestricted and will support HomeAgain where it is most needed.
Emergency Shelter Programs - Your donation is restricted to use in HomeAgain's Emergency Shelters only and will support program expenses. Through our Espigh Family Shelter (for women, children and families) and Men's/Veterans Shelter, clients receive a warm bed, healthy meals, free on-site laundry facilities, play and learning areas for children, mental health support, as well as workforce development resources to name a few. During their stay in our shelters, staff work with clients to locate stable housing.
Community Housing Programs - Your donation is restricted to use within HomeAgain's Community Housing Programs only and will support program expenses. Through Rapid Rehousing (RRH), clients quickly find stable housing and learn how to live independently just after a few months with HomeAgain. For those who require lifelong support, such as our veterans, HomeAgain provides Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and follows clients throughout their lifetime.
Edward White King Memorial Fund- This fund was started by past Board Chair, Don King. He and his late wife, Ann (who passed away from ALS in 2020) had/have a passion for helping the homeless in Richmond. Many years ago, their son Edward tragically passed away at the age of 2 1/2 and as a result, the Edward White King Memorial Fund at HomeAgain was created. It was founded with the help of Erika Raskin Littlewood to benefit Richmond area homeless children and has helped the family live out Edward’s death. Your gift to this fund is restricted and solely supports children's needs within the Espigh Family Shelter program.
Operating Reserve Fund- New in 2023, this fund was created to help HomeAgain weather economic uncertainty and make stronger strategic decisions. Unlike corporations who have the revenue to satisfy employee salaries, building and equipment maintenance, utility expenses and supplies, office rent, and insurance, non-profits often struggle to 'keep the lights on'. Donations to this fund solely contribute to these costs.
